2023 Hood County 4-H Sewing Camp
This year, the afternoon session of our Hood County Camps from July 11-13th will be Sewing Camp!
Who: Camp is open to youth who are entering the 3rd-8th grade in the 2023-2024 school year.
When: July 11-13th, 2022 from 1PM-5PM
If a student chooses to participate in both Food Camp and Sewing Camp, they will be permitted to stay during the break from 12PM-1PM and supervision and activities will be provided.
What: This year at camp we will spend some time exploring basic sewing skills. Once we have that mastered, we will dive into an exploration of Quilting! We will have some special guests guiding us through the art of quilting. We can’t wait for you to join us!
Where: Hood County Reunion Grounds (641 Reunion Court, Granbury, TX)
Cost: $25/camper for 4-H members or $40/camper for non 4-H members
- Please pay by either cash or check made out to “Hood County 4-H”
- You may register for just Sewing Camp, or both Food and Sewing Camp on the same registration form. Campers who register for both sessions will be permitted to stay from 12PM-1PM. Supervision and additional activities will be provided during that time.
- An afternoon snack is included in Sewing Camp Registration.
To Register, please complete the packet below and return it to the Extension Office (1410 W. Pearl St. Granbury, TX 76048) by June 30, 2023 at 5:00pm.
**Please note that spots are limited and will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis. Your camper’s spot is not reserved until the extension office receives both the registration form & payment**
