2022 4-H Summer Camps
This year, Hood County 4-H will be hosting a half day Food Camp and a half day Sewing Camp. Campers can enroll in one, or both!
Who: Camp is open to youth who are entering the 3rd-8th grade in the 2022-2023 school year.
When: July 12-14th, 2022
Session 1 (8AM-12PM)- Food Camp
This year at camp we will be exploring food safety, how to run a restaurant, and some general cooking skills! We look forward to having several special guests from our community to help us learn!
Session 2 (1PM-5PM)- Sewing Camp
Sewing Camp is back this year! We are looking forward to exploring different sewing basics and learning how to use these skills to give back!
Where: Hood County Reunion Grounds (641 Reunion Court, Granbury, TX)
Cost: $20/camper/session for 4-H members or $30/camper/session for non 4-H members
- Please pay by either cash or check made out to “Hood County 4-H”
- You may register for a single session, or both sessions. Campers who register for both sessions will be permitted to stay from 12PM-1PM. Supervision and additional activities will be provided during that time.
- Lunch & Snack is included in Session 1 Registration
- Snack is included with Session 2 Registration
To Register, please complete the packet below and return it to the Extension Office (1410 W. Pearl St. Granbury, TX 76048) by July 1, 2022 at 5:00pm.
**Please note that spots are limited and will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis. Your camper’s spot is not reserved until the extension office receives both the registration form & payment**
Volunteers:
Are you too old to participate in camp?! Sign up as a Junior Volunteer! Junior Volunteers are 9th-12th graders who are excited about helping out and working with younger kids. Fill out the registration form below and return to the Extension Office (1410 W. Pearl St. Granbury, TX 76048) by July 1, 2022 at 5:00PM.
